Separate from the ENT practice

The facial aesthetic treatments described here are provided by Alpha MD, a medical aesthetics clinic located in the same premises. They involve a consultation and a file separate from the ENT consultation, and are not covered by Quebec’s public health insurance plan.

Treatments offered

Neuromodulators. Injected in small quantities into targeted facial muscles, they temporarily soften expression lines — forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes. The effect appears within a few days and fades gradually after several months.

Hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin. Used as a filler, it restores volume in areas that lose support over time and softens certain folds. How long it lasts depends on the product and the area treated.

Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid). This product works differently: rather than filling immediately, it stimulates the skin’s own collagen production. The result develops gradually over several weeks and usually requires more than one session.

The prior consultation

Every treatment is preceded by an assessment: medical history, medication, allergies, expectations. This is when the expected effects, duration, possible side effects and situations in which a treatment is not appropriate are explained. No result can be guaranteed, and response varies from one person to another.
